2015 NBA Draft Lottery: By The Numbers

On Tuesday evening, an annual event known as the NBA Draft Lottery determined the order of teams set to select the first fourteen picks during the 2015 NBA Draft.  It is an event outside of the field of play that has generated almost as much attention as the actual games played.  Ping-pong balls have been drawn and the sequence of picks has momentarily been fixed; there will be teams that trade their positioning in the NBA Draft before, during and after selections are made.
Those teams sitting at the top of the NBA Draft order have a host of talented players to choose from, including Karl-Anthony Towns, a power forward/center from Kentucky, Duke center Jahlil Okafor and Ohio State freshman guard D’Angelo Russell.  Towns appears to hold the top spot among prognosticators, but early predictions are amenable to change.  He averaged 21.1 minutes, 10.3 points and 6.7 rebounds per game during his freshman campaign at Kentucky.  Here are 11 other numbers you should know about the rest of the players and teams involved in the 2015 NBA Draft and the NBA Draft Lottery.
