I hereby propose a new psychiatric diagnosis for DSM-VI: the Post-Great Recession Stress Disorder. Once established, it should tee up a whole gang of billable hours for mental health professionals. Just as Sigmund Freud came to understand neuroses by studying his own dreams, I have gained valuable insight into this affliction by analyzing my own case history.
